Portfolio - Crafts
This section of my portfolio is for crafted things I've made which aren't textiles or art. Thus, basically everything else.
Created to complete a costume commission.
A solid brass star shape with bezel facing; this one depicts the Saturn symbol.
This necklace was a gift for Christmas '16. Made with real gemstones and metals: hematite, quartz, silver, onyx, swarovski pearls and bicones, and czech glass.
Yes..I also make doll eyes. I use my own designs via digital art, high quality resolution and home printing, then set them in appropriately sized bases.
This is only a small sample of all the buttons I've made. I have a 1.25" button maker, a graphics tablet, and they are the best of friends! All my buttons are also printed on my home printer at 600dpi for best results.
A very tiny chain, very tiny swarovski bicone, and a tiny neck. Though this piece is sold, I can and will gladly take commissions for micro doll jewelry. Modeled on a Resinsoul Mei 1/4 BJD.
These two styles of charms are meant to resemble the Triforce and inverted Triforce. Made with genuine leather and either brass or aluminum.
Though I don't own the high tech machine to print and cut acrylic myself (oh lord I wish I did!), these are some of my acrylic charm designs finished on said professional machine I wish I owned. I will likely forever have to shove my graphics at my supplier and lament my lack of insane funds or space for the equipment. lol
I have loved Origami since I was a child, and more and more find it rather amusing to see just how tiny I can make cranes. The two smaller ones were made with packing tissue paper.
A dainty, tiny cameo necklace fit for 1/4 size BJD, completed on super shiny micro ball chain. Modeled on an AoD 1/4 female body
A multitude of hand beaded sakura (cherry blossoms) and sakura petals completed as a comb. Beaded Sakura of my design made with high quality Japanese seed beads and tiny swarovski bicones, silver plated beads, and ribbon.
A re-imagining of the original Magic Wand from the original Legend of Zelda, Wood turned, burned, painted and stained.
Inspired by the Goddesses of the Zelda games, the pieces of the Triforce, and the Pendants or Goddess Pearls. Simple, Sweet and elegant. Made with real brass, swarovski, and high quality german lucite beads.
This is the piece I made for my Goddess Hylia cosplay. Goldtone and plated chain, brass beads, and real amethyst.
An example of the sets I made some time back; wood carved and painted with acrylics.
1" wooden carved, painted wooden figure stands made to look like...parts of the world. The two styles depicted include carving, painting, and felt overlay.
An original concept based on the Fierce Deities mask; what if there was a Goddess of Time mask? This is my interpretation. A modified costume mask, acrylics, felt, craft foam, wig wefts, brass and beadwork.
Another Zelda inspired work featuring peyote tubes in red, blue, and green, each with a gold "Triforce" on one side. Made with delica seed beads, and brass rounds.
A hand made miniature book of mudora. Paper, glue, fabric, paint.
A friend commissioned me some time ago for a pair of detatched Sharingan eyes. Paperclay, paint, glass.
I've been known to make dreamcatchers of various sizes; this one was a custom gift.
A replica of the Goddess "Harp", or Lyre, from Skyward Sword. Commissioned years back; made from foamboard, wood, and beading wire.
Still probably one of the works people recognize; I've been hand painting journals as my depiction of the Book of Mudora from the Zelda series for some time now. This one features text not only in Hylian writing, but my Hylian Language Project as well. Please see my DeviantArt account for language work details.
Links Fireshield earrings from Skyward Sword. Custom commission, made with paperclay and a custom mix of paints. *These were a prototype and ended up FAR larger than intended; though beautiful, I've really got to work out a smaller variation for future versions.
A better shot of the Larva/Rava mask I made for my Vampire Princess Miyu cosplay. A papier-mâché mask base was used and heavily altered with more papier-mâché, cutting, sanding, and painted.
