Sometimes, people have a question, but it's been asked before. To save people having to ask something I may already have an answer to, I decided to make a FAQ page. Below are some common Q&A's.

Q: What would you charge me to make _____?
A: Please please please, contact me! Detail what it is you want, and I will give you the best cost estimate I can! ♥

Q: Wow you must have gotten started early sewing didn't you?
A: As a matter of fact, I've technically been sewing in some form for the last 25-30 years; depending on whether you go back to when I was 4, "helping" my grandmother sew, or to age 8 when I was hand sewing doll clothes. So yes, it's safe to say it's been a while!

Q: What does your shop name mean and what's the symbol on your logo??
A: "Yume" is the Japanese word for "dream"; so it means "dream style". The symbol is the kanji for "yume" which the bottom part acts as the "Y" for the rest which is spelled out in the roman alphabet. Technically doing this also provides a couple of puns; the first being that the logo can be read "yume yume style", the second is almost a play on words, which is "yume ume style". Ume is Japanese for plum or plum blossom. Though I haven't yet figured out what a dream plum is. hehe

Q: If you do graphics, do you do logo design?

A: Yes. In fact, I designed my own logo; I can also do more streamline, modern, professional designs.

Q: ...?
A:
Yes... I AM slightly obsessed with cherry blossoms.

Q: ...And the purple?
A:
*laughs* That too. Purple/Violet is my favorite color. Actually, I love Purple, Black and Silver as a combination, but my shop theme colors are purple, lavender and white (as not to be SO dark). I know it's rather bold, but it's "me", and it does catch attention. ^_~

Q: What's with all the random images all over your site, like the book and thread and stuff?

A: Actually there's a story behind that. Due to all the skills I have, all the things I've made; they're a representation of myself and my work. Some literally, such as the little book, the Little Joe charms, BJD eyes, and origami crane, etc; then the thread and amethyst bead are a couple of representations of the tools of my trades. I "cluttered" them around the site in a way that I hope gives a direct and up front idea of what I do and is catchy, but not a total distraction from the site.
